Mihai Adrian Popa became part of our criminal law team, with a particular focus on business criminal law, following his tenure as an associate at a prominent law firm within the Romanian legal landscape. His rigorous approach and deep passion for criminal law have positioned him as an ideal addition to the expert team led by Vasile Băiculescu, where he now plays a crucial role in handling some of our most intricate cases.
Mihai is currently involved in managing and contributing to cases involving a range of serious offenses, including tax evasion, money laundering, fraud, and embezzlement. Before joining the team at Băiculescu și Asociații, Mihai spent an extensive period at one of the largest law firms in Romania, where he built a successful career as a professional attorney, serving demanding clients.
Mihai specializes in criminal law, adeptly managing complex cases involving serious offenses such as tax evasion, money laundering, fraud, and embezzlement.
In addition to this expertise, Mihai has substantial proficiency in civil and commercial matters, effectively handling several ongoing cases that showcase his ability to navigate diverse legal challenges.
